Histology Core

The Histology Core provides comprehensive services related to tissue histology. It is solely responsible for providing histological research support required for IBS CNIR's studies. Located on the 2nd floor of IBS CNIR, the histology core is equipped with a Cryochamber, Microtome, Fluorescent optical microscopy, and more. The histology core is staffed by a pathology expert and offers services not only to researchers affiliated with IBS CNIR but also to others. The histology core accommodates a diverse range of tissues, ranging from mice, rats, and monkeys. It provides services for studying various tissues including, but not limited to, the brain, eyes, and heart etc.
